IPPUDO Ueno Hirokoji

Clean and very nice vibe. Service was prompt and our dishes were brought out pretty quick. I ended up getting their Vegan Ramen bowl...yes they do have a Vegan Ramen bowl! It as honestly pretty tasty and they don't use pork broth by the way. Their pork gyoza is also very good; I would highly recommend that you try it if you are not veg or vegan.

Amazing ippudo, very quick and friendly service. Child friendly. English menu. All the spices are on the table, though I don’t think the soup needs anything more. I would love to come back someday

Contrary to what I believed by scanning the rest of the reviews for the words “vegetarian” and “vegan” — they DO have a vegetarian ramen at this location!!! It’s a soy sauce-based broth with green onions, bean sprouts, and mushrooms. It’s quite good, and a godsend for vegetarians staying in Akiba, since there appears to only be one other restaurant that offers vegetarian ramen in the area!! So, so happy that this Ippudo serves vegetarian ramen. 🙏🏻

Yep like all the other reviews, this place is amazing. I love that they give u garlic cloves with a crusher on the table along with sesame seed grinder. Now that's condiments! Prices around 1000 yen for a mean meal

Really enjoyed how the noodles were thin, yet firm at the same time. I got the Akimaru Modern Ramen, and it was different. Had a lot of flavors to it. I believe the Shiromaru Classic is a bit more simple, without a ton of flavor, and one I may have enjoyed more.

Great food. Well worth a visit if you're nearby. We walked there from Akihabara.

There was a time when Ippudo was incredible and opened up so much in the ramen world. I’ve eaten in Ippudos in 3 countries now with this branch being the last one. There is nothing wrong with Ippudo but when everywhere tastes the same I felt here, disappointment. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good bowl of soup with nice noodles. But had it all before.

A very nice spot with tasty ramen and gyoza. My favorite part is the atmosphere and decor, it feels very comfy and soothing. It’s a bit expensive compared to many other ramen shops but it’s still a delicious option.

My friends and I just ate at this place, we had a vegetarian ramen, we had to asked for it as the menu doesn’t have it, the staff was very friendly and prepared one.

It is what i expected, no more no less. Good but not amazing, good value.

Great place, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, Go for classic ramen it is so smooth and delicate filled with a flavourful tonkatsu broth. This is one of the best ramen I have tasted in Tokyo.The rice with egg is a good side dish too if you're really hungry as the bowl is filled with noodles 😄

My favorite ramen restaurant. The Hakata style ramen with the broth is cooked with special materials in 18 hours which will satisfy your taste and melt your heart in the very first spoon. The side dishes here (free) - chilli salted beansprout is a bonus. Also, the half boilef and salted egg in topping menu is the must try.

Ippudo is good and convenient. I mentioned to the cashier that I've been to the shop in Santa Monica and she nervously laughed about how it's more expensive than in Japan. Yeah...

Great flavor. I got the spicy with three spices and special toppings.

The ramen was delicious, the texture of the noodles were perfect and that broth was so creamy and flavoursome. The egg was cooked perfectly and to top everything off the side dishes were free. Definitely recommend Ippudo.

Hands down the best ramen I've had in my life and I've had loads. Insanely quick service and extremely polite staff. If you haven't eaten here you haven't lived, plain and simple. The 18 hour broth will change your life.

Ippudo has established itself around the world but the Japan establishment is superior. I went with a friend who has a red meat allergy and the staff was extremely according even making him his own broth and ramen. Definitely recommend getting the set so you can try their yummy gyoza!

Located beside the main road, easy access and the ramen is really nice.

Friendly and delicious. Not a huge drink selection but there will be plenty of liquid in your ramen! The pot stickers are excellent as well. English menu available and lots of extras. Big bowls! Yum!

Three or four varieties of ramen but very-very good with additional toppings on the table to add yourself. And their dumplings are something special! Solid 5 stars for food and ambiance.

Soooo much better and cheaper than the NYC Ippudo. Check this place out! The highballs are huge and only $2. The English menu was super helpful. And the ramen was delicious

A more upclass ramen-joint that has a bit more stylish interior and a waiter that takes you to your seat as well as takes your order.I selected the ramen in a white bowl with minced meat on top, apologies for not noting down the exact name of delicious dish.Some caution should be taken as the dish is available in various levels of spicyness. The regular version was spicy enough so proceed with caution to the more spicy versions.

Very tasty, good service (as usual in Japan). Different types of ramen soup with different addons to choose after your base ramen.

Staff were sometimes friendly. Food is excellent. If you often find ramen a bit fishy in Tokyo, come here. Pork based stock only, so will suit western tastes.

Ippudo Japan taste better ( and better price)

My "personal" Favourite ramen shop! We frequent this spot. Warm friendly staff, quick service and a hardy menu with lots of complimentary garnishes too (garlic, ginger, spicy soya beans and super spicy toppings etc) Accessible for reasonably sized wheelchairs (tiny step but if you need help they'll assist and seat you toward front so you have room.)

Not very busy and the service was good. Broth was too salty and too much fat floating... And 赤丸 is not spicy enough 😅

Wonderful hearty, spicy ramen in a sleek setting. I had level 1 spiciness and was glad I didn't go hotter. The gyoza were light and flavorful once i drained off the grease with paper napkins Fast, friendly ervice.

IPPUDO is such consistently good quality. I have been to the Sydney location and now that I had the opportunity to visit Japan, had to try it here in the homeland. Broth is excellent and the noodles are among one of my favorites for ramen shops. Add some fresh garlic right at your table and it is a delightful bowl that is sure to make you happy - and extremely full.
